well.... It looks like it will be quite deadly, just hope that a skeeter can take it down (dont know since it has that rear gun there)

I can see it now, take the 4mill reavers we have now, and it becomes 3mill reavers and 3 mill bombers (grunts give up and take to the air)

We need that AA buggy (just hope its better than the AA maxs)
That and beef up the AA maxs a bit.....

Well, it does look rather fun anwyas

Liberator - I do hope they are bulkier then they look in the picture, right now to me, it almost looks like a reaver, but heck, if it holds 3 ppl its got to be about 2-2.5x bigger? And probably wont have much to defend itself, just the bombs and only front and rear guns that are probably similar to a Galaxy, looks like it'll need very good escort if it wants to last as it will become a big prioity to destroy.

AA Buggy thing - Nah, I don't thing AA buggies will be better then Maxes by much if at all. The only thing I think buggies got going for them is speed, they can chase enemy jets down while shooting. With that in mind you would have to assume that the shots from it aren't homing or you could never run away from all the shots cause the dumb buggy is chasing you the whole time

all i have to say is look at the size of that back ball turret, and those bombs better have some power to match their size or i'm going to be seriously pissed off.

Wonder how good or bad the aiming for the bombardier (the guy that drops the bombs) will be. I think this will make or brake this aircraft.

Any ideas on what this vehicle will shine at? What are the obvious targets, and how are You going to find them if You are very high up (see next question)?

What will it's 'attack height' be (low or very high)?

Does it come with a radar, which makes it easier to find targets?

... and finally - how many cert points do You think it will take to get? (My guess - 3.)

Well, I think the obvious targets are bridges, many a time have my squad been fighting a rival empire when we could have used a bomber to just bomb that bridge to hell. I think they will be used sort of like dive bombers to be really effective, go to the height ceiling then before your target dive down and let the bombadier do their work, and perhaps it'll cost 3-4 certs.

"The pilot will position the aircraft over the intended target, with a bombardier dropping the payload. The bombardier may choose to drop single bombs or carpet-bomb across a small focused area."

To me that sounds like the thing will have to be stationary to drop its payload.

The use of 'position' rather than 'fly' - it's not a word that suggests movement.

I can see this being similar to the Tribes 2 bomber.

I just hope the targeting is better then the one T2 had.

This will come in very handy for bridge battles or for clearing a courtyard (if they survive long enough).

Problem with the T2 bomber was idiot pilots. Being the gunner in them was cake, if you had a pilot who didn't insist on flying over the base at full afterburner (makes it a little hard to see the crosshairs). Oh and IDgaf, quit being a semantics whore

As for the bomber itself, I don't know. I'll tell you what I think after I actually get to fly the thing

It will be interesting to see how it pans out.

I'm kind of glad it's a three-seater - in that it takes 2-3 folks of the picture in return for it's firepower - like a tank.

I hope / expect they will be limited like tanks for purchase (longish re-spawn timer, only if you have the tech base).

I can't see it having less certs than a Reaver. I hope they do something to make the Mosquito a bit better - perhaps Air to Air only missiles? After this makes it in, I just don't imagine many Mosquito's in the air (like there are that many now).

I also expect to see the majority of these things take off with just two occupants - kind of like the TR Prowler tank. The required driver/pilot and main armament, with the lesser gun only optionally manned. At least with this you can't change positions easily keep that in mind, you bomber hunting pilots!

I understand that the liberator is the most anticipated vehicle, but it would have been more responsible for the devs to release the Skyguard first, given that the other two vehicles are potentially devastating aircraft.

Edit: Although, I will admit that the tailgun pod is boss
