in additional to the above.. I now feel like PS2 is a game I may end up playing for 5+ years like I did in the original. I couldnt honestly say that till this update.

It is just the same handful of people complaining over and over again. It's so few in fact I could name them off here quickly but won't bore you with that. In a game like this not nearly everyone will be pleased with everything but SOE has to do the most good for the most people. From what I have seen so far they are doing that. Are things perfect? Well no but issues are constantly being worked on and that is great.

I dont think the latice is quite so awesome as some people are saying - but its definitely an improvement.

there are sp many small units that the majority of fights still end up close to same borders where they happened before.
Far few lattice points farther apart would make for more dynamic map usage.
