You complain about the quests and facial expressions when you stated that you think Eden Eternal is the highest quality f2p MMO? I lol sir.

Maybe you didn't know about the fast travel feature in Oblivion? There is no 20 minutes of walking, EVER. Unless you're in a dungeon fighting your way to the bottom of it and you have to stop to heal etc.

Fast walk was a cheap feature I personnaly never liked. Ya some ppl enjoy it because its easy and gets it done, but it kinda ruined the experience for me. What if I happened across a troll along the way or discovered a secret dungeon? Its that constant expereince I find if you stick with it make the game better overall. Granted the game should be random enough and have enough content to make every trip memorable and not completly boring. Watching a dragon snag a mamoth in the distance.....worth the trip to see that.

Yeah fast travel I tried to avoid as much as possible, but when the quest calls for you to go back to the city you were just at for the third time in a row, fast travel came in handy

Fast travel kind of ruined the experience in Oblivion for me. I don't know, it was just that feeling where I could get to any location I wanted to without any effort if I felt like it. There wasn't really any need for walking to places unless a quest wanted you to walk 100 miles to a random dungeon.

Tons of them. This is going to be amazing.

There are no games to bide my time to Skyrim.

But after skyrim, it's smooth sailing to everything else......

I should use the time between now and release to get a job....

friend of mine that gave me his copy of Morrowind to get me started, was talking about Skyrim just the other day. Made me want to re-install Oblivion, which i didn't get very far in due to f-ing it up so bad with mod install.

I'm sure if you look around there are some mod-pacs with ratings on some of the websites that are kinda must haves. I over modded when it came out and ended up having to delete and re-install several times, made it to hard a couple times, generally ruined the game for me as I spent more time messing with mods than playing and I never did make it very far in game.

^ Nicely done mate.

Have to admit my interest for this game has climaxed back in full force, especially after sifting through these two segments on PCG: http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/10/05/to...mes-in-skyrim/ , http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/10/18/th...kyrim-preview/

The first one really did brighten my day when I read it nearly fell out of my chair laughing! Figures; those birds will rat on you, despite how poultry your crime.

The true test of a game like Oblivion is being able to play it without questing. Any open world game should be perfectly enjoyable that way.

Every article I've read about skyrim really reinforces that opinion. It really sounds like you will be able to make your own adventures yourself, steal a horse, kill a hunter for his magical weapon, or pretend your a dark brotherhood assassin to help kill a little boy's abusive guardian. Did I mention the all out battle caused by pissing off 2 factions and leading them towards each other, so they fight because of their hate for the other overpowers their hate for you.

This game will be insane.
