Wanted to state that 2 buses with ammo can't trade ammo back and forth, i know this for a fact. It even also states it on the wiki

As far as XP, from what i can tell, you only get it if your squad mates pick up the ammo.

And from my limited testing, you don't need to be deployed.

Seems like a common, yet persistent bug. I get XP from anyone, as does an outfit mate that runs one often. Another outfitmate ONLY gets XP from squad members.
Not sure if the repair cert is the same, but i have yet to get any XP from using the repair sundy... not that the repair it gives out is worth anything.
