its worse... thats been all over the news in philly... the coach told the kid to come because he was gonna get a special trophy... so naturally the kid was all built up telling his friends and family about his special trophy... and he gets the Cry baby award...

I'm sure the kid probably did plenty of stuff to deserve being branded a crybaby. And of course the media wouldn't report any of that, because that would make him seem like less of a victim and wouldn't cause so much contraversy. Either way, there are better ways of dealing with kids like that. And the guy is a stupid douchehat for pulling a stunt like that in front of the parents and administrative officials.

Im sure that award was rightfully given. and if it wasnt its still funnay. all the years Ive spend in baseball leagues I can imagine a few handfuls of people that deserve this award as well.

Ya, laugh you assholes, laugh. The kid is MENTALLY CHALLANGED, even if really is a crybaby he can't help it. I changed schools after my 4th grade year, and came to a snotty prep school. Granted, I was and still am small for my age, but it did not justify what those assholes did to me. Two weeks after my first day I wrote my will and had it made legit. Those little bitches deserve to die, but I'm going to rise above them and laugh at them when I'm rich and they beg me for money. They ruined me. I am a lonely person with alot of built up anger, that's why I play video games. They all come to me for homework answers, and I laugh at them and give them the answers because I know next week when we have finals they will fail them. Besides that, I will take my revenge after I've experienced life, with a bomb sent to the core that is. Fear me fools.

It said that the coach also taught a Special Education class. It did not, however, say that the team he coached was for the mentally challenged. What kind of high school sends their disabled students out to represent them in inter-scholastic sports?

Kam, I doubt that would happen, and the columbine kids went in knowing they'd shoot themselves. Seriously, if you plan on killing other people just shoot yourself first. I don't want Lieberman to have more ammo to try to ban video games.

That is correct. I said he shouldn't be allowed around special-ed kids. I said *IF* he did teach a special-ed sports program...

There are many schools that have a special-ed sports program. No one said they have handicapped kids on their "competitive" teams. You'd have to be a fucking moron to allow a mentally retarded or otherwise challenged kid on a football team or other contact sport- not because you'd lose, but because of the safety and liability issues. Most schools won't even let an autistic kid on a team. Instead, schools try to come up with teams designed for and centered around handicapped kids. Ever hear of the Special Olympics?
