Chicken Shit asshattery should NOT be tolerated.
I like (a LOT) the idea of freindly fire being reversed. They do need to make this a bigger priority. A timer is a must for Empire hoppping. HOWEVER the Empire Timer ONLY STARTS AFTER YOU LEAVE YOUR WARPGATE MOST players are NOT asshats. MOST MULTI-EMPIRE PLAYERS ARE LEGIT & HONORABLE. People have the right (and need) to play different Empires. It helps prevent boredom. Some relish the underdog role and will usually log in as one of the two lower POPs. Some guys log into their alts to to manage Certs or do misc maintenance of their character(s) or account. . |

The friendly fire off suggestions open up whole new exploits lol. Suddenly everyone needs a BR1 alt to spam grenades/tank shells with no regards to who gets hit by them. Friendly fire is there for a reason.
Anyway I do agree that if it's possible to do so a cooldown built into the client of at least one hour between faction/account swaps would be great, and mostly solve the problem. |

now, i would get to sleep better, if a dev would jump in to show that they have read this thread and are willing to look into the issue.
there are quite a lot of ideas in here that would work for sure, and some with zero downsides for legit players. but nobody knows if a dev is aware of this thread.

I agree thats a bit lame. Especially as it's so easy (with some team work) to just drop pod on top of the sundy to blow it up. I have countless times dropped on a sundy with countless enemies surrounding it and still successfully blown it up. Sure it's a suicide mission but it's effective way to stop the enemy spawning in.

friendly fire for a br1 reflects to damage the griefer. scaling. so the first friendly grenade will be more like a warning that hurts, the second will be instadeath.

i forgot the additional idea i already postet the last time this issue was discussed.
the weaponlock should also be permanent until the same amount of damage that has been done is applied as heal or repair. so the griefer would have to do social community service to get back his offensive power. wouldn´t help on its own for all the "create char, grief, delete char" crowds out there, but would incourage undecided noobs to take the right path.

When I play my alts, I say "herp derp" repeatedly over local as I drive through densely-populated areas. I smash a lot of NC and TR that way, though I only fight NC on my TR alt and TR on my NC alt. But I actually fight, not just blatantly mowing everyone with a BR1.
I made this post a while back on the PS2 forums about improving the grief system.

I don't want weapons lock mechanics messed with, as there are legitimate reasons to TK... many of them touched on in this thread.
I do like the idea of a scaling timer based on your grief level. Also, PS1 had account wide grief mechanics which worked fairly well for legitimate players, but hit TKers hard. |

I still don't understand faction hopping during alerts.
There are people playing only for K/D and certs to reach the BR 100. What's the point on that? These players need to go back playing World of Warcraft. And I think a lot of people think this, so YES to account 8 hour faction lock on same server to the people that change faction to the wining side: truly guys, this is not the game for you. |
