Put a gate/wall around the entire top, with just openings for driving vehicles in and out. Not ones you can stand on, just like the small walls around some outposts.

The trees could be named Vladimir (Slavic name for Ruler of Peace) and Branimir (Slavic name for Protector of Peace). Considering we're talking about The Crown, names fit, IMO. Also, -mir can mean both peace and world.

Considering the pictures, I predict more cover for invading forces. That tree on the southern road might be very good against HE tanks, Phalanx turrents, etc.

The first picture showed a more fluent going up from the southern approach, specially from Zurvan.

One question, will we really need to re-download the whole game in January? I remember smed talking about something like that in twitter.

Your wrong about that. When shit hit the fan the location of the spawnroom ment you could still harass the enemy along their path to point B from inside while your troops still had a safe exit towards the back. Lets face it, if you couldn't get out safe that way the crown was lost.

These are likely all changes that give an advantage to attackers. Including the spawnroom change.

ok, so no more big battles at the crown... or else it will stay the same. (mostly)

Who cares? What's this Jumpjet fix he's talking about? I didn't know they were broken. Will we now see swarms of TR locust zerg LAs, hopping through and over NC canyons? Dropping C4s and grenades? I don't like the sound of that.

And Lib nerf will upset me. Can't say I'm surprised though.

I believe it's the fix for the bug that will sometimes force you to restart the game (or log in and out?) to regain the use of your jetpack after dying as LA. Not totally sure though.

All the LA jetpack fix is, is to fix the bug where it just randomly stops working at all, and you generally have to relog to fix it.

What's with all the people having no idea what the changes entail assuming the worst about everything? Don't you get tired of being negative all the time?

Generally, i like the idea of moving the spawns from the outer rim to the center.
Better to say the spawns should be the inner core of every base and not some outside building. But i think that was said numerous times before....

But why the hell the first tweaked facility is The Crown? The Crown is one of the best defensible outpost in the whole game. Exactly at the crown we dont really need further defenses. Some kind of weird priorities.....

Some arguments could be made that too much population focussed on one position weakens the amount of fun that can be had on the rest of the continent(s).

I personally think one of the best things they could do to the game is completely delete the crown.
