Noone comes to mind for me in particular, but the Lasher isnt THAT bad. It could use some work though. The gun has always had problems.

The Lasher is the only HA weapon I really like. I have a locker full of them... but like no ammo. Damn that VanuTech.

This one VS I saw tripped and shot himself in the face with it, one shot kill. He was pretty good.

Fuck no, I was soloing and trying to help that Sturmgrenadier clusterfuckup at Sina. I would have OSed them trying to footzerg from the tower... but loltimer, urgh.

I did some Barney huggin at Pele though.

I think I was 19 or 20/1 before I left there to handle the TR up at Tara. The AC guys were tearing the ones up in the base while I got to feast on the zergers lol.

I always wondered why they didn't let every empire take energy ammo, since the Vanu could still take all ammo for other looted empires (except ESAV - which is also more rare comparatively of looted weapons).

Anywho, the Lasher has always been kind of a flawed weapon. Before, it doubled as SA; now, it's sort of like an alternate MCG with a worse COF. The problem being, up close it still has a faster TTK on Rexo than an MCG, so if you buff the COF too much it's going to completely negate the MCG.

As for best users, I always considered Visigodo to be the best Lasher user in game. I don't really play all that much anymore, but before I quit Angel definitely came into his own as one of the best Lasher users.

Well the VS do have regular access to the Punisher and Sweeper, so there's your 9 mm and shotgun ammo.

Still could've made the energy ammo common pool as well, but meh.

Back when I was good, I pretty much held off a yellow alert with the old Lasher, I killed 20 enemies before finally being killed with no help. Or actually there was one vs who spawned in, picked up a quasar max, and proceded to use anti vehicle mode on infantry, he died within 10 seconds. lol. And not all the guys I was fighting were noobs either, a couple almost beat me. Also the interlink facility benefit + fighting only 1 max helped greatly! The lasher was a lot harder for me to use when I was lagging, the first portion of the time I played in 2006 I was using a completely out to date computer, my computer I used back in 2004/2005 broke down, and I couldn't buy any good parts

. Then I finally got me some good fps, and bam, I almost held off a yellow alert single handedly! Not a boast, I actually didn't even notice I did this till a couple years later when I was looking at my old footage I recorded. Edit: Let me add there were 1 or 2 vs in cc, but I defended the rest of the base
