What I hope not to hear are the dreaded "Beta Weekend" words. I want a full-scale all week 24 / 7 test. I am a cook and my busiest times are Friday - Sunday. Weekend Betas blow for me.

I don't know if it'll be "beta weekends" but it's been confirmed it won't be 24/7 right from the start.

Set in stone date? I'd be happy with a tentative date of them saying "If things work out as planned, Beta will start at or before the end of July. This is subject to change, due to ongoing internal testing."

When they announce at a major press event that Beta is coming within WEEKS I expect it to come in WEEKS. They've caused a lot of hype and if a month passes without it publicly starting I will be upset.

Correct me if I am wrong but they did say within two weeks at E3 right?

I know it's likely not going to be "Hey guys beta started!", but I'll just be glad to hear something official.

But.... next week there's an announcement? And next week is when the big outfits are doing their "Goodbye Planetside!" event? Coincidence?

I don't get it... isn't vacation the best time for beta? Get your priorities straight people... cancel that flight to Cancun because nobody wants to go there in the summer.

Actually it will be "We are n/n (where n=number of weeks since E3) weeks away from beta".

So according to this, we will never reach beta

I'm going to Greece to attend my cousin's wedding and catch up with family that I haven't seen in 10 years.

So yea, no skipping out on that. Wedding > PS2
