I wasn't expecting the new Lightning to look like that.
I'm not too sure about its design yet.

I'd like to see it with that "Skyguard turret" they talk about, as it seems that AA will be its main role on the battlefield.

Personally I think it's great at the length it is. It's a much beefier version of the Lightning, especially when you look at what came before it. The height is also much lower as well, but its hard to really get a sense of scale in these shots.

We need another one of those overhead size comparison shots. I think it looks rather big on its own, but I bet next to the heavy tanks and Sunderer it looks more appropriately smaller and closer to the ground.

EDIT: Just came up with a new front-line sport to play: Magrider poll-vault. The trick: sneak up to the magrider and get the Lightning underneath. Point turret straight up as high as it goes, fire rounds. Endless hilarity is bound to ensue.

Actually it is cool that you did that. It shows how lame it would look if it was shorter. It's a TANK. It should look more like a Buick and less like a VW Bug.
