I hope the female models look decent, because my GF is incredibly vain ~_~ even though they'll probably be encased in armor 90% of the time that will probably make or break it for her.

Male for me.

I typically play a female as the majority of people play male. The reasoning is that I want my character to be as unique as possible and stand out from others.

I'll have to see the end game models and their animations.

Probably whichever is goofier. I remember females in PS1 if you walked forward while strafing (W and D or a) they would walk very awkwardly. Anything that looks goofy like that is always a plus for me!

If I'm going to be staring at a character, it will at least be one with a nice rear end.

It depends how goofy the males look tbh. Games tend to make the males look utterly ridiculous and the females somewhat decent.

I often go back to playing a game called Titan Quest, in which the female character works far better than the male, especially with certain equipment. WoW was really bad with this, also. Female night elves, humans, draenei, orcs, tauren and trolls looked far better than their male counterparts.

While I don't really roleplay, but I still want to sort of be able to "live" the character, something I can't do with female characters

Male, because I'm not a woman. Also because I try to make my first character as much like me as I possibly can.

Male. I'd be too busy staring at my own ass if I was female.

Except theres no third person view for grunts to avoid corner peeking and the game is an FPS. No need to worry about staring asses mid game.

Other peoples asses. Those playing female characters may be able to distract potential cloakers from back-stabbing them buying precious seconds to get away.

Nor are you a soldier from the far future fighting on an alien world where death doesn't exist. Don't be boob-shy, Hmr85.

Male.
Because.
As I am a guy that's all the reason I'm giving you. And you'll learn to like that reason or I'll give you a reason TO like that reason, reasonably.
