The guy may not have been a model citizen, and I may not be a big fan of his music, and his habits may have been part of the reason he died, but it is still sad when someone passes away that young.

ODB was a founding member of the Wu Tang Clan, and did rap stuff. The only reason it's getting so much attention is the fact news channels can say 'bastard' now because of his death.

In that case, Heil Hitler.

The fact of the matter is, I am not necessarily going to show a lot of compassion (I show respect towards the dead, but not always compassion) for someone who gets on the front page because he dies and is famous, especially if I never knew him. My grandmother died, she was very near to me, and all the world got was an obituary in the Miami Herald.

The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.

Those who don't know who ODB is are either too old, too young or live in a world where no music get's in aside from what they like. (aka the OMFG RAP SUXXORS! METAL ALL THE WAY! or the opposite)

ODB was a big part of the rap community and althought rap is not the best music in my opinion (I still listen to some) his death means a great loss.

God bless his soul.

exactly.

And just cause you don't like rap doesn't mean its sucks, thats your opinion, and just so you know to whoever said rap mostly has no meaning behind the lyrics, its the complety opposite, thats what rap was founded on.

Obviously you are mistaking rap with pop, where there actually is no meaning, just words that sound well together.

EDIT:

Just because you didn;t hear of him does not make him not famous.

He released many albums in rap and was known within the rap industry and its fans.

Thats why he was know or else he wouldn't become famous jsut cause he died.

To be recognised when u die u need to do somethign that affects alot of people whilst your alive, like musicians do with music, artists with art, etc, etc
