I just got back from band practice and the bad news wasn't as bad as I expected. It still sucks though. Aparently her dad was really pissed off to see us hugging. He even threatened to not let her go on the band london trip in december. (we are both signed up to go on that.... a week together in london, mmmmmmmmm)

I mentioned the idea of me or my parents talking to her parents and she said she thoucht that that would be a very bad idea. They don't think she should be dating at all at this age. Aparently they are not about to budge. Holy shit this is really eating me up inside. Don't suggest I should dump her. That is not about to happen.

Nononono, get your parents involved and get them involved now. If what you describe is true, it isn't just you. Her parents are afraid to let go of her; they're being over-protective to the point that it is beginning to be irrational and threatens to work to the detriment of her life experiences. What parent would not want their child to experience London, especially in an educational sense like your band program is offering? No, this is something that needs handling now, before it gets really messy for everyone involved down the road. (My God, how are they going to handle her going off to college?)

Talk to your parents about the situation and get them to talk to her parents. Her parents are far more likely to listen to adults than some kid they percieve as trying to get into their daughter's pants. (And honestly, although cyberkiller was probably jesting, it may not be extremely wise to be in too close proximity of her dad until he's ready to accept you... so don't try talking to them yourself, without your parents present.)
