Well Mr. "Everything is just awesome" i am not part of the soe marketing team. If i think something look a bit cheap i say so. using the same particle effect for a sandstorm and a snowstorm is somekind of cheap. I would say to same about your awesome 3d car models if you use the same wheels for each one of them. If you just wanna hear how awesome everthing is i suggest only reading the announcements of smed and the devs. Last edited by Mox; 2012-10-06 at 04:30 AM. |

haven´t played very long on esamir yet, but i like the more open design!
but the fog really sucks. the game could be so beautiful, but 95% of the time the beauty is covered up in stupiid fog. i really hope the weather will change! it´s ok, to have fog sometimes, but don´t cover up the whole beautiful world all the time! we saw so many awesome screenshots with a crisp hd world, but the ingame experience is always blurry, even on high quality with a badass gamer rig. that´s sad. is this blurry fog thing a way to lower hardware needs, or is it really an artistic decision? if it´s artistic, it´s a massive fail and i am hoping to see continents that are not affected by sand- or snowstorms!

@Shogun and others.
That weird 'blur' thats layered over everything in the world is actually from a graphics setting being set to high. Right pisses me off because i like the bloom and glow effects but that blur is tied into a handful of other graphic settings. If i could remember the exact name I would say, but i think its simply labeled 'graphics'. It is torwards the top on the right side on the video options settings. Turn that to low and that weird blur goes away. Doesnt stop infantry details from appearing blurry though. |
