Well, I can certainly understand where you're coming from with your thoughts on lone wolfing and I suppose it wouldn't be right of me to shit on an entire playstyle that some are forced into (or even god forbid, enjoy). This is especially true if, in order to curtail the amount of MBTs on the field at a given time and ensure that one's that are destroyed aren't immediately replaced, the resource cost was almost prohibitively high.
I agree that a heavy infantry support vehicle is needed although as a Planetside player I'm saddened that the Sunderer was given so many roles (particularly the AMS) that is no long really functional in it's original capacity (it's akin to turning the lib into primarily an AWACS/EW aircraft). I personally would like to see enough firepower to establish fire superiority in a localized area, mineguard and composite armor both equipped and gate defuser by default on my ideal IFV. Plus it has to have the horn. I will pay money for that.
And don't even get me started on base design. I've been whining about that since beta.
