Like many others I am completely new to Planetside. I first heard about Planetside 2 when I read about it in an article in PC Gamer and I've been hooked ever since. Since none of my friends are planning to buy it I've been thinking about joining a nice outfit. I must say that the thought of three outfits all cooperating, each with a different specialization sounds really cool.

I'm a swedish gamer with quite a lot of FPS and MMO experience, in this game I'll probably be playing Medic/Pilot. Am I supposed to file an application or will you start recruiting when the game is released?

Application is always possible on our forums. Plus socialising before beta gives everyone a chance to get to know each other a bit.

PS: your friends don't know what they're missing in a free game.

I can't understand why someone wouldn't at least try out a game that is completely free to play: I guess maybe some are just really stubborn.

So I missed Planetside 1 due to a combination of my degree and WoW and am now very excited for Planetside 2 and am very happy with my PC Gamer provided beta key!

I've been looking around at outfits and empires to join and find myself drawn to the NC and having looked at this post wanted to join you guys when the game goes beta/live. I have signed up at armored fist and the steam group page under my more regular "Fallout" tag which was taken in nearly all its forms on this page!

I've been playing FPS games since the original Half Life/Counter Strike when I was about 12 so have plenty of experience of shooting people in the face and get the most enjoyment out of playing with a group aiming for the same goal. Following that I can imagine I'll start out playing a medic/engieener support troop role but that may change depending what is needed.

My steamid is Sarevoc500 but my profile is called Fallout and I'm a UK based gamer and my favourite pie is Steak and Ale.

Some footage from the multi-empire event we were able to organize due to our good standing and connections within and outside of the NC empire (first three taped and edited by Draxis from the TR perspective, last by either ResonantEvil or Bobbyshaftoe from a NC perspective) :

The event was organised to pay tribute to the old Sunderer, as it was to be replaced by the Sunderer Mk.II.

hey how's everybody! I played ps 1 a long time ago. Loved the game. =) I can't wait to play the beta.

A little about myself.. I'm 30+ years old guy looking for a solid outfit. Damn, that funny video with the japanese music really made me laugh! (must JOIN IMMEDIATELY). I am a support-type of player. Planetside is the only game I've
played in my long gaming career that's full of drama, excitement and glory.
For this game only I would upgrade my PC!

I like the way you described your goals and dreams of this outfit. It's inspiring
and I hope we'll have a lot of fun together. I will go sign up at armoredfist webite.
