Cool idea, a common enemy that we have to destroy quickly and once we clear them out it becomes disputed territory with new resources, new technology/weapons, and merits for performance during the event. Sounds like a great way to retain players.

Not entirely sure what it has to do with his lunch or the (blurry) screenshot, definitely looks like a Reaver to me. Get us one with missiles being fired, perhaps into a freshly smoldering vehicle or towards a group of enemy soldiers being tossed by the shockwaves!

Battlefield 3 shortcut right next to the Planetside 2 QA version bleh. They are not even trying to hide where this game is getting its mechanics from.

As for the big grey thing is it a spaceship? Since it looks like he crashed his Reaver into it. Maybe a warpgate or something.

I am not worried about having enough players to "fill up" the game,when DCUO went f2p SOE got crushed with all the new players trying to create chars and log on.

on Nov. 4th Smed tweeted that they were at a 600% increase and that was 330k new players, later on it hit over 1000% so just spit ballin here , that's over 500k in a day or two.

all it is going to take is a big push to spread the word,I have to believe that SOE is going to spend some money promoting their new 50 million dollar investment

That won't happen until *we're* playing the game.

And if DCUO is any indication: B2P/F2P's will be the future mainstream of MMO's. PS2 is going to explode with popularity, I just hope one still has to purchase a retail copy to make an account. That should keep hacker numbers down at least somewhat and at least encourage people to not do stuff that would get them banned otherwise.

He's not supposed to be sending us these images, but he CAN send us images of his food, and if it just so happens his camera phone catches the entire image on his monitor while taking a snapshot of his food, "oh well."
