Ford is bringing their Euro-specced stuff to China, the US is just a by-stop.

You guys damn near got me to cry a lil bit. My first car as a 89 Camry. Ugly, slow, but dependable. Best time of my life and all the freedom that came with it. Now my crazy ass little brother doesn't want to drive or have a car, and he has friends the same way. Must be a generational thing??? Hes 13yrs younger than me.

My two youngest sibs are the same way (8 and 12 year diff). I don't get it. A car has been integral to my identity since I learned to drive. But then, when I learned to drive, you could fill up the tank for a weekend on whatever change you had in your pockets.

I bought my first car a year ago. I worked all through school to pay for it:
first one on the right (orange) except mine has tinted windows. Some asshole crashed into me while I was parked just last week so it's been a rough month for my baby going to cost like 2.5k (500 out of pocket) to get the wheel well / front bumper and hood replaced. luckily there was no real structural damage. |

I started out with a Volvo 740 -88 when I got my licence, not much of a chock when being swedish. But they run well and relatively cheap to repair and own. But could not afford it on the little student funding we got when I had to pay around 5$ a gallon (it cost about 8$a gallon now).
At the moment i have my SAAB 9000 -95 and my V8 powered TVR Tasmin 350i -84 (UK Spec) for those hot summer days. |

I had 1.1litre citron saxo for my first car. Got pulled over for racing it 6 weeks later, crashed it 2 months later, replaced it a week later with an identical saxo....and then crashed that one too!
To you Americans, the cars big enough to fit between your paving slabs! Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 |
