Site Performance Issues - Page 2

That's one of the symptoms I cannot get a handle on. It happens during periods of high traffic, happens to me as well.

Yup, had the issue heavily around 11AM CST today. Even to the point where my browser times out opening the site sometimes.

Is the site now eating posts or something? I posted something with a pic in it earlier but it disappeared. Then I just saw someone posted something at exactly 9:02PM CST in this thread (Improvement: Ignore list as a tool to encourage a positive social environment) by Akadios but it doesn't show the post in it.

You should now have a notice as to why your post was removed.

As for Akadios, I can see his post just fine, you may have him on your ignore list.

Yups, that's what it is. Derp... He's the only person I've ever put on ignore so didn't know it didn't show anything when someone posts when they are on ignore... Thought it would show their post with something that says "ignored"....

EDIT: Funny irony of it is the thread is about ignoring people!

It used to but I turned that off. It defeated the purpose because people were hitting show post then replying anyway when they were on ignore

All hands on deck for Thursday thanks, things are going to go ballistic.

Drives you crazy chasing moved/deleted/closed threads.

And unless the site is down it all loads extremely quickly for me in AU.
