Hey guys, so I just kind of taught myself how to stream and stuff lol. Started streaming some low quality PS live (480x360, Q6). Looking not too shabby, though I'm not sure exactly how high quality I could get it up to. But it IS working, and I feel really good about that. I'd like to get some feedback from you guys if possible, let me know what you want to see and how things are working on the other end.

There is my channel, I'll probably be streaming in the early afternoon tomorrow (between 1 and 4 EST) so if anyone is around, check in. I could probably record slightly better quality stuff that isn't live, however my hard drive isn't endless so I'd probably still do OK quality maybe an hour at a time or something like that. Regardless, live is preferred. Hopefully I'll have some good stuff going soon.

Morto, definitely give it a look and see if it's up to par! Keep in touch and hopefully we can get some stuff started. Already had a random guy drop by my stream while I was testing, not even a PSU member. Hopefully we can get a little following and make your idea a success!

GTGD, well done, all of my channels are now following you. But none of your videos have been archived so I cant watch until you are live?

hopefully ill still be here at my PC when you go live if im not dont worry I will catch up, but i should still be here.

I happened to check GTGDs stream yesterday. He was idle at the time I hopped on though

I new you would have to watch it, its infectious. seeing yourself from another persons point of view is a funny but nice feeling

I've been doing things like that with videos for years, it always get me going lol

@ GTGD

the quality was much better m8, I also know the XSplit if you buy it has a text and game source setting so it will highlight the text better, witch is about the only problem with your stream. The rest was good.

On another note, remember most people don't have fast broadband, like Coreldan, the average is about 2mb download, so I recommend streaming in as low a bandwidth or as close to 2mb and highest quality you can. For example take a look here = http://www.twitch.tv/terranrepublic/b/304264574 This was my stream running almost full HD, now although it looks good to me, we must remember until we are partners with Twitch we can only stream in 1 resolution. And to become partners we must have as many views we can a month/followers etc, thus streaming in a resolution that can be seen by most is a a good choice.

As we progress we will be aiming for better quality, atm its all about doing streams that have some point a reason, of course we are just testing at this stage, but I think we will have some interesting streams in the next week or 2.

Duke are we serious? We going all ape shit on this m8, take a look here = www.TeamStarz.net and im streaming almost daily, but still testing for now. About 1 week from now we will have something good, if you can provide some help that would be great, we need all the folks we can get on board here

there is still so much needs sorting out, and with only a hand full of folks it will take longer. We need your help and support now please!, thank you very much!!

I would say however that small connections like mine are in the minority though in the gaming circles

But since I'm currently a student with no income, I don't really feel like paying more, especially cos I rarely need it. I already pay 20€/month for a 1mbit line >.<
