Have you ever even listened to Drop Kick Murphy's?
obviously not if you're calling Less Than Jake more hardcore than them...

I don't really like all that hardcore crap though, they tend to disguise thier lack of musical talent with huge amounts of distortion and bass

Yes Ive heard dkm, they're alright. Just not what im into.
I don't care what you say about the kinda muysic I listen to, Distortion and bass are cool :]

Warped tour = garbage.

Sure, there's a few great bands there. But the shitty pop-punk out numbers it to greatly.

Looks like a bunch of shitty bands this year... with the only exceptions being:

Dropkick Murphys
Rancid
Suicide Machines

Yeah the lineup leaves some bands to be desired. I come from a big punk rock upbringing but I fell off the Warped hype a few years back. I turn to the other shows for my fix of good music.

although with the whole pop punk thing on mtv...i think alot of people i dont want to see will be there...although i hope AFI and some other bands will play "old" stuff that appeals to me more

Yeah I hear ya Ho, I know it sucks having alot of our favorite bands concerts that have been our favorite bands for a long time being over-run by 12 year old girls screaming I love you Davey! But having family in the biz I've grown to realize that this is a necessary step in the life of bands, sucks on some levels but benefits the band and thus their music, if they remain true to themselves and dont let the shit-talkers and the people all about the money poison them.
