Is she the kinda girl who is super easy to talk to and when your doing so your totally comfortable and feel like your just being yourself? If its like that then I'd take that over nothing man. I'd still try to tell her how your feeling, it would tear me up to never do so, but thats just me. Try it man, you could be happy with what she says back.

Yeah i know the feeling, i get stuck in the friend position way too often.

Currently friend with this young lady(the one in the white shirt, other girl is her cousin who i'm also friends with but that's fine by me

) and it sucks big time. She's one of the "2nd rate" type of girls that was discussed by none other than Zetre.

She's cool, she's funny, she's just good looking enough to be hot but enough to be a bitch/snob, she's basically perfect

I completely and totally fell for this girl at school, we were pretty good together, friends and all.
i really fell for her hard, to the point of nonfunctionality, but took a long time to actually work the courage up to ask her out, thought she would think it would be too weird between us

anyways, i asked her out, she already had it for another guy

Sounds all to familiar Dio, I dated this girl for like 8 months...She was soo fucking hot and everyone at my school wanted her, she was super nice when it was just the two of us, but she was too affected by it all. I ended up breaking it off, thousands of dollars and wasted days later. Thus marking the end of me falling into the "good friend" category again.

How do you forsee the situation with that girl ending up Dio?

I was in teh good friend stage for a while, then asked her out dated for like 3 weeks then this new girl came and changed her personality. I was pissed when we broke.

Don't waste your time. Your on the "Friends Ladder". If your not framiliar with the ladder theroy here is a litte about it.

The first thing to notice here is that a woman has not one ,but two ladders. This is becasue in addition the normal ladder, a woman also has a friends ladder. The friends ladder is where a woman puts guys that she considers "just friends". More to the point where she puts guys who don't get to have sex with her.

The problem arises because a woman never lets a guy know which ladder he is on. Obviously there is a huge difference, or gap between these two ladders. It is in this gap that kisses of death are delivered and intellectual whores are made. All a man can do is "go for it" and make a move on a girl; ask her out, try to kiss her, write her a love note or whatever. If he's on the good ladder fine. If he is on the friends ladder this is a case of ladder jumping. The man is trying to jump the gap from the friends ladder to the real ladder. The girl has two choices at this point: she can let him on the ladder and all is well, or, more likely, she can kick him in the head, and off the ladder. If you look you'll see that below the ladder is the Abyss(what was it Nietzsche said about a man being on a rope stretched over an Abyss?....well it's worse than he thought; there is no rope.) So the man falls into the Abyss. The Abyss isn't really as bad as it sounds. Mostly it's a period of self-loathing, embarrassment, and of course utter awkwardness with the girl in question if they are talking at all.

i usually get stuck in "dreaded friend" thing...becuase i'm too nice...but as The President said...the dicks that treat girls like crap always get them...and girls wonder why they can't stay in a relationship...all girls see me as a friend in my town now...i guess you have to be a dick to get girls in highschool?....*shrug*
