No, if you actually go through all the threads and count the Vanu sigs you will notice that Hamma is right and most sigs are Vanu. BTW NC sucks, shotguns can't do shit if you keep em at a distance, and if you're good enough they can't do shit close range. Also the whole yellow thing will really suck at night, and day too

hmmmm. Did you fail to realise there is the weapon called the Gauss? And the Punisher? =/ Not all guns of the NC are shotguns.

Punisher is Common pool. Gauss will rock though.

I chose Vanu because they wear thiner armor, and once you get inside a base, you'll need armor or firepower. Vanu have neither.

All the empires are a bit extreme for my tastes, but I dislike the Terran's because of their soviet-crush-all-oposition type thinking, and I dislike the Vanu because they remind me of a freaky cult :o

Well since my first character is going to be a basic grunt, I mainly compared the assault rifles. Gauss seems to be the best out of 3, which was my initial reason for joining the NC Really hate the cycler (TR) though, high ROF and less accuracy it seems, where the Pulsar(Vanu) seems to be a little weak in the long-range departement I voted TR for the benefit of this poll though

I've always been under the impression that the Vanu will have the advantage in long range combat because of their laser weapons whit wery little recoil and high precition. *shrug* could be that i'm wrong.
