The older i get, the harder it is for me to watch movies. I have 10 dvd's a. because they cost a lot b. because once ive seen it once I really dont want to see it again and c. even if i do want to see it, while im watching it i think "i could be playing planetside right now"

Just movies seem to be getting more and more the same..... I mean i know whats gonna happen next.

Im not anti-movie, everyone loves a great movie.
oh and all this doesnt apply to anime (dont ask me why i dont know)

Not all war movies are good. Tears of the sun if you can classify it as a war movie :-/ completly sucked.

BTW darkness falls is one of the worst movies on the face of the planet.

Perhaps you mean Spirited Away?

Pretty much all of Hayao Miyazaki's stuff rocks.

My Neighbor Totoro, Porco Rosso, Kiki's Delivery Service

Even his Lupin III movie (Castle of Cagliostro) is good.

I'm looking forward to Howl's Moving Castle.

Lots of info at

Windtalkers. Worst war movie ever. Besides some John Wayne WWII one I saw in history class. They came down in a glider, crashed through several dozen pine trees (pine trees near French coastline, plus there's no way the glider would survive that), land not twenty yards from a german barracks, and then start sneaking over the razor wire, no one notices until they are at the base of a guard tower.
