They said they're adding base benefits, and I don't think this is a bad idea, just it leaves some exploits THAT WE DON'T KNOW THEY HAVEN'T CONSIDERED.
You think that when somebody says something they're telling you everything that there is to know. Maybe something as insignifacant as some exploits have already been thought of and taken care of but spork didnt want to go into every little detail? So please, for now atleast, STFU

Now your trying to censor me, in other words it's a two-way street.
And this is a quote from the OF "In the month of August, we will be finishing up the long-awaited Facility Link Benefits across the world. As described previously, these will include the following: Bio Laboratory: Reduces all respawn penalties by 50%. Note that this only applies to linked facilities , not Towers or AMSs. Technology Plant: Makes "advanced" vehicles available at any vehicle pad linked to a friendly Tech Plant. Amp Station: Allows vehicles to recharge their shield capacitors in the courtyard of any linked facility. This shield strengthens the armor of the vehicle, but its strength dissipates as damage hits that shield. Vehicles recharge over time when in a linked courtyard. Vehicles' energy dissipates only when they're damaged. There is no way to recharge a shield capacitor "in the field." Dropship Center: Allows access to Repair/Rearm Pads at linked facilities. Air vehicles can now land on the air vehicle pads, and ground vehicles can pull up to a wall station in the courtyards. Once at the Dropship Center, the vehicles can repair themselves over time; and they can access a terminal interface that's based in the Equipment Terminal allowing them to fill their trunk space without leaving the vehicle. Interlink Facility: Greatly enhances the coverage area of a player's basic radar and makes Phalanx Wall Turrets much more effective." Is that what you wanted? You're getting your base benefits, as well as the CTF/Rabbit system.

Ok you say STFU the fact that you put please in the sentance doesnt detract from that. I suggest that you not read forums that upset you, I'm actualy looking out for you man, and your blood pressure and what not. This is a message board genius, folks are going to post about this game, you might as well grow accustomed to that and contribute to the conversation, instead of posting random STFU on every thread that you dont necissarily agree with. My offer stands, if you dont like the topic, maybe you shouldnt read the thread.

Regardless of how you feel, everyone wanted the base perks, and no one I know wanted, or even thought about follow the gamecube as a game enhancing feature.
The question still stands, what is wrong with the current feature? Only one person tried to respond to the question. I think it is safe to say, that for the most part it was and is fine. So what is the motivation for this entirely new gameplay? Distractions or do they really think it's a good idea? Stay on topic, go moderate someone else's thread.

Anyways, other than the fact that almost every fight is nothing more than a cluster fuck in the basement there's nothing wrong with the current system for base capping. There is hardly any reason to fight anywhere but inside a base though and that's what many find wrong with the current system. Now then will this fix it? In a way, yes, but I can easily see trying to cap a base becoming a 6 hour ordeal with this craptacular system. P.S. Bismark, did you have a point? Because I think you're trying to make a point, you just seem to be doing a horrid job of it. No one is arguing about getting base benefits, we're saying the ctf/rabbit system is, to put it simply, teh gay.
