The only real problem with the Lasher is that it is far too effective against MAXs and vehicles. Much like the above poster mentioned, many Vanu have realized they dont even need AV. What they should have done if they were going to Buff the Lasher like they did was to either give it an AP mode like the Pulsar and make it take 2 ammo per shot like the Quasar, or create some AP ammo for it.
However, the Lasher is basically all the Vanu have. The Magrider is a good tank, not great, just good. The nubies that constantly complain about it are just shitty players that cant deal with being run over by vehicles. I never, ever have problems getting tun over by anything on all my characters. Its really just the ZERG mentality and lack of skill. People expect to be able to run all the way up and into a base with no resistance
