o and also that autoflight thing is really ghey...when in an nme base and u are getting a air vehicle the turrets tear u up b4 u even get full control...=(

also when enemy planes are around and you are tryin to get in the air to engage them...they engage you b4 u even have full control also


Hmmm. Where do I start? Okay, first, I will start with the issue with standing around the vehicle term. If you are standing at the vehicle term, one deserves to die if a enemy Libby drops it's bombs there. My first suggestion to the newbs/others is to not just stand there when you select your vehicle. Move away (take cover as much as possible).

It's just common courtesy to select your vehicle and move away from the term so others can access it. If you are going to go afk especially. I personally select my vehicle (once I have worked my way through/around the masses) then move off to the side and or take cover as much as I can w/o losing my spot in the queue. I believe (not sure of exact distance) you can get up to 20 m away from the vehicle pad w/o losing your queue status. I also believe if you are going to sit there and block the term then you should get killed/bombed. Maybe you won't block the term next time out of courtesy to others.

As for the issue of auto flight/drive off the vehicle pad. I feel it's both a blessing and annoyance at the same time. In case you weren't around before, the reason for adding it was that so someone couldn't sit on the vehicle pad and keep others from getting their vehicles. This way everyone gets their vehicle regardless if that person is afk/not paying attention/or being a smacktard all together. And obviously, you already pointed out the downside, so I won't go into details on that. I feel that it (the auto flight/drive ) is necessary to keep the majority happy and game progressing. If you have a better suggestion to prevent/solve these issues, then by all means let us have it. Or better yet let Dave/Sporky know directly.

The autdrive is a good thing, but too good. They don't need to autodrive the vehicles half way across the courtyard so we can hit mines or get nailed with AV weapnry. Just enough to get us off the pad is great. AS for aircraft, the autofly should only levetate you high enough so a vehicle can go under you. One easy way to get xp to camp a vehicle term in a battle with a Decimator and a striker. I fire off 1 maybe 2 deci's, then switch to my striker to finish it off as it flys away.

i just hate how autodrive makes you drive through walls, into other vehicles, over people...i agree with the above post, just enough to get off the pad is good enough.

oh yeah, our starfire is getting some truly asstastic bullshit worthless 'buffs' in an upcoming patch. boy these things will really really solve the issues at hand. they're dropping our overall damage by 20% (WOOHOO, NERF THE VANU!) and reducing the damage dissipation at range.

I'm not a rocket scientist or a surgeon, or a nobel prize winner, but five seconds after I heard the VS anti-aircraft weapons platform, and only the VS AA, had damage dissipation at range I said someone was a total dipshit. why the hell would you even include that at all? aircraft, range, range degradation. DUH!

anyway, that's what we're getting, no more damage degradation and 20% less damage overall. woo-Fing-hoo. that's really going to help us when every air vehicle in the game, even a liberator, can OUTRUN our orbs. not outmanuever and cause us to lose the paint-lock we have to maintain like all the other lock weapons in the game, totally OUTRUN.

oh yeah, non-stacking plasma damage. thank you, please pull through to the next window.
