Actually, if I had to pilot anything, I think I would want to pilot a helicopter, very cool contraptions if I do say so myself.

The A-10 is my dream fighter, although, I'd love to get to pilot a AC130 spectre, and know I was personally responsable for that much death and destruction. I definately wouldn't mind paying taxes so much then :P.

As much as I despise choppers, I am going to try and score as high as possible to get a shot at Marine One. How fucking bad ass would it be to fly into the White House every morning?

I was at Offut on 9/11 and saw AF1 with Bush and the gang on board. I'll never forget it. Or his escort. Those were American badasses. Talk about on top of their game.

Blackhawks are run by the Army mostly. Get into the Warrant Officer program and you'll be on your way.

If you want to fly choppers at all, and don't have a degree go Army. If you want to fly choppers and fuck up untold amounts of people - go marines (of course, they're trying to fuck you up too). If I wanted to fly choppers, I'd go army. They've got the best and the most. If you want to ferry people around, go navy or marines.

Was going to go be a SAR swimmer, but those guys were crazy. I'd call them marines except they can swim.

This is the Toasted Frogs truth: When I was in AirCrew School our class had 15 marines. Not a single one of them were present when I graduated. They couldn't pass their swim quals.

My principal did the ferrying around. Very dangerous and you have no teeth! (expect the marines you are carrying) No thanks.

Are you shure about that 6 footer rule on fighter pilots, Nav? Why have a rule like that? I am only 14 and I am already 6 foot. I had better hope I stop growing soon. What do they do with people who are exactly 6 feet tall?

99%. You may want to call a recruiter and ask, but I'm pretty certain. What it has to do is with the cardiac system and blood flow under high g, high stress environments. If you're really tall, there's a lot more blood escaping your torso, but if you're short, it's staying in the torso better, and gets back to the heart and head quicker. Women have better bodies to be fighter pilots than do men. THat's why men have to be in such great shape.
