Im fairly happy with the game...I have a pheonix, heavy assault, engineering, I'm pretty well rounded. I can take down almost anything. One thing, however, sends me running to the sanc.
TR MAXes. 2 or more of these babies in a tower and you are FUCKED. F-U-C-K-E-D. If say, 2 pounders and one DC spike down at the stairs by the entrance to the tower, with an enginee, especcially with teh splash damage, no one can get in there with a maybe 1 deci shot. a force like this once held off about 30 NC from taking a tower. THAT, my friends, is the most feared unit/senario on Auraxis. |

I try to stay away from Vanguards. They're the meanest tank in the game IMO. My favorite tactic against them is to deploy a minefield and then use my self as bait if possible. This has worked several times for me so far against different vehicles.
It's not often you get the opportunity to do this , but when you do and they fall for it, you get a lot of satisfaction out of seeing them explode after running you down. |

MAGRIDERS...
It's fun to gank Beamers then turn them on the Vanu. I killed this Vanu sniper the other night with my Scatter Pistol, then lifted his beamer. Silly Barney came right back to the same spot (revealing his AMS in the process, which I took care of later) and started sniping again. I snuck up to him and killed him with his own Beamer. |

The only thing I fear is dumbass noobs. Yesterday me and this guy were firing at a cloaker. We got him, then the guy kills me. After a discussion he says I hit him and drained all his armor, so he killed me. I could've repaired him! He has to be a complete asshole about it so my friends and I just do some dirty things that will make him not want to spawn in that area again. We repeat /tells to him saying he should loosen up a little bit and then he says it's a good thing we're not fighting in real life.
LOL This made me laugh so much! I thought about how pathetic this guy was and that he was probably a little kid or something, so we just let him go. One of my friends /broadcasted that he was a VS spy, so for about 5-10 minutes everybody in the area was TKing him. He finally recalled and logged off. This was last night at Thoth, on Cyssor. His name was Fosters.

What do I fear? The jackass n00b who undeploys the AMS right as you spawn out and get to the equipment terminal. It almost never happens in a quiet area, and as soon as it happens you can count on the Reaver missiles saying 'hi'.
Even worse is that somebody who knows what they're doing will usually redeploy it quickly and somebody else will get there about the same time and undeploy it thinking they're redeploying it. I've gotten to the point that I'll TK poor people who think they're going to deploy it after it's already been done and they didn't notice. Better the one death than the loss of my AMS. |

Sometimes I have to move an AMS. If I'm in a battle, and we have an AMS outside the base, but we've cleared the inside enough to get in. I'm gonna move that AMS inside the base so we can finish it off. However I would consider my self nice enough to say "I moved the AMS to the SW corner of Heyoka" or something like that

I'm not talking about that, I've done that myself. I'm talking about the n00bs that spawn and think they're running to the equipment terminal during a heated battle, hitting 'G' before realizing they're at the front of the AMS instead of the back.
I drove an AMS across a cont and got outside a base the VS had just taken over. They were spawning vehicles right and left, and there were no other TR around. I found a perfect spot for the AMS, deployed it and watched as the Magriders and Lightnings passed by a safe distance away. I sent a tell to a buddy who deconstructed into the AMS from a nearby tower, and we were both cloaked and planning on wreaking as much havoc as possible before they figured out where the AMS was. The AMS was deployed for maybe a full minute when some n00b died and spawned to it. He immediately ran to the front, undeployed it and it started taking fire from a Lightning which had been passing by. Rather than redeploy it, he ran like hell into the woods in his standard armor. I sent him a tell asking "WTF?" and he didn't bother responding. That's the n00bs I fear. |
