Right, and I'm not arguing with you. You simply brought up an argument that at least in some cases has been taken way too far imo. Like I said I wholeheartedly agree that if a base is under control and there is little resistance that the main force should be moving on. Since the change to the exp system there have been fools who will go into a CC that's guarded by 3 or 4 people and bitch them out for guardning the CC telling them to move on to the next base and quit wasting their time.


Erm yeah anyways on the topic at hand no FF would be idiotic. Imagine trying to break into a CC where there are 4 anchored pounder MAXs that don't have to worry about grief or killing each other. Or a room full of Jackhammer/MCG/Lasher users who can simply spray and not worry about anything. It just wouldn't work.

I tell the pounders inside CC to go outside. Just RIGHT outside the CC. If hey are inside they kill the other guys if so much as a cloaker gets in. 5+ people dead over one cloaker? When I used to have cloaker I'd do this just for the laughs! Now if that pounder was ouside the CC, he could have got the cloaker kill AND the gratitude of his friends AND no grief. On the other hand, When 10+ peeps are inside a CC that are enemy to TR I just laugh as a bounder walks up to the door and pours fire into the tiny room. No resistance, easy EXP. Total humiliation to the 'defenders'. MORAL: keep moving; don't bunch up. 2-4 people inside a CC is ENOUGH!

5 step soloutin to clear out all the lamer XP whores in the CC

1) load ur biggest armour in ACES(except max) and a jammer

2) proceed to CC

3) place boomers everywher trying to cover all angles of the room, even right on the CC

4) press v s a c

5) throw jammer in CC room

u can kill up to 40 ppl, and the best part you can only get 10 greif...
if u get angry tells from ppl, say shut up maggot get out there and do something for your empire!

Hey I think no ff in the cc room is a good idea!

TR can spike 8 pounders in there and drop rounds all over the floor, without fear of blowing themselves up; but if an enemy opens the door...

VS can just shoot lashers at each other, as well as thumpers with plasma grenades bouncing all over the room.

NC can run around with scattercannons and JH's without fear of hurting each other too!

You like being on peoples TK list right? I had some dipshit try and blow me up in the cc the other day, I shot him, shot his outfit mate that came in the door after him, then wired my own boomer and set it to blow when he came back.

Bottom line, let other people worry about what they do, it is a game after all, I'd rather have them in the CC then anywhere else in base, if you have time to set up elaborate ways to tk people then I think it is you who needs to look into finding where you can better serve your empire.

Secondly, placing a boomer anywhere but a on a flat horizontical surface is useuless since all a boomers energy goes up reguardless of angle of orientation. Put a boomer on a wall, stick your nose against it, detonate, youll get very little damage.

FInnaly, you can get more then 10 grief if you go through this, you are still held accountable for the actions of your explosives.

I'm usually a max, but if I'm not as soon as i see a knife come out and 1 swipe I kill them immediately. It's annoying as hell. And its fun when have a reason to take out a whole group. (took out 8 vanu on my friend VS character in my max X.X )

anyways, i only do this if its the last base to lock on a home cont, and i usually send warnings saying fireworks in the CC enter at your own risk... and if u see a cc covered in boomers and dont move, well thats your own fault

Having FF off is stupid. Plus, you shouldn't have many people in the CC. Once it's hacked, some of my friends and I hack the terminals, load up, get a tank, and proceed to the next base. Staying back is a waste of time.
