A variant of the "one man army" myself. While I do Spec Ops off from the main group I tend to try and gear it towards something that will benefit them either immediately or shortly thereafter. I try to draw attention away from the main fight and back towards wherever I'm sabotaging at that time. Or I'll go ahead of an assault's direction and try to "soften" a base up before they get there.
