Follow what Nimbus said. We take reports like this on a regular basis. Your local law enforcement agency will issue a report number which you then give to the phone company. They will in turn send phone logs to that law enforcement agency for further action.

I would suggest against doing some of the things suggested here as that would be considered harassment on your part and cause you even more trouble. Then the whiney little bitches win.

Im not sure exactally how this works, but if they call, and you answer, just dont hang up. I believe this keeps both your lines busy, so they cant make/recieve any calls. Next time they call, just answer, and place the phone (preferably a cordless) behind a chair or something on the ground so you cant see/hear anything without knowing its there. that'll piss them off after a while.

it will hang up on their end after a while. only thing it will do is mess up your phone line, you'll be able to make/receive

Used to happen to me, some girl was mad cause I dumped her so she would always get other guys to call and say they would beat my ass etc. Well apperantly thoughs guys werent so bad ass so then she did what your dealing with right now. Her friends would call and sometimes tell my parents that I was the father of thier baby. My parents and I got the police involved and they stopped. I didn't take any real legal action I just had the police talk to my ex. Hah, good times...

You don't need caller id. Just keep a record of the times that they called and the police should be able to subpoena the numbers from the phone company. The most important part is to get the times, and several examples (the switch doesn't always catch every call, extra examples ensure they can trace it)

Yeah, call the police as pretty much everyone suggested. I doubt you will make any money, but they will stop, almost garaunteed.

I skipped all of this because I've been in this situation before with harassing callers. So you may see the same information.

A) Call their parents. Have YOUR parents call their parents and say "Every time your stupid brain-dead kid calls my house, and every time your number shows up on my phone bill, I am going to charge you fifty dollars. PER CALL."

B) Have your business-minded parents speak to this chick's parents, reminding them that psycho-bitch is exercising manipulative control over friends to coerce them into illegal acts, and it's having a detrimental effect on their business activities, not to mention their personal privacy and sanity. Have them recommend they get off their hippy asses and spank the crap out of the little shitbag.

C) Call your phone company and have them block the numbers. Quite often, phone companies will not only block the number for you, but also call the offender with a warning.

D) Seek legal protection for harassment. Law enforcement can't do a damn thing because they don't have proof or strict jurisdicition. The judiciary system, however, can file a restraining order... and if they call and your bill shows that they called, that's an automatic summons for violation of a court order.

E) Call me and I'll road trip down there and monkeystomp the little SOBs.

C) All of the phone companies I've dealt with (CenturyTel, Verizon, Ameritech, SBC, MCI) can not block numbers for you. They provide features that allow you to block a number yourself, but they cannot do it for you, no matter what the situation is.

D) 1. Law enforcement CAN cite them for harassing phone calls if you've done a call trace. I deal with situations like this every day. 2. Your account only records billable calls, unless they are calling collect, this will not show up on your bill. If you get a restraining order and they call you, you will STILL need to call the police and have a call trace done in order to bust them for anything.
