Well, the point that he was trying to make is that they were correct in making it unrelated, as no two FF's are alike in characters and plot.

I don't count FFX-2... WTF were they thinking, why did they break tradition.

I dunno, Halo COULD be a good movie, as long as they don't botch it, and Final Fantasy sucked, EXTREMELY pretty , but it sucked.

Meh , like I said it was an artsy movie. Not sure ehy they decided to go that route with it but that's what they did. The cinematography was beautiful but it took itself too seriously. It was like watching an art film at a film festival and thus isn't going to do real well with the general public.
