the only version I ever fired that I would consider comfortable to fire was the .357 mag version...the original design. the 44 and (god forbid) 50 AE are just...nutz. the biggest issue I had with the DE was it flipping hot shell cases down my shirt. every one of them I fired did that. I'll stick with revolvers thanks.

I almost broke my leg twice in a hole some fucking woodchucks dug in my back yard.

In my mind woodchucks = prairie dogs in terms of abundance and annoyance.

That's why if any of those little fuckers sticks their head up in my view, they get a little taste of .22 long and thrown to the coyotes in my lower field.

the video making it look like a big joke or video game is wrong. there are reasons for reducing numbers even just to save what it is you're exterminating, but personally Im done killing things that are, for the most part, minding their own business.

you see enough living things reduced to bits and spatters by your own hand, you start to lose respect for those that are still alive. thats when its time to stop.
