Well, from what Smokejumper said, bullets do not go through walls, which I will define as it wont go through enviroments either.

Furthermore, SJ said gernades use raycast, and enviroments will block explosions.

Ahm, you just looked at the APC, not the bridge, you will see that the metal railing, the concreat bridge, and he dirt have distictly differant bullet holes.

Would be neat if you could use dampeners when you jump from a aircraft and land in a tree. Could drop down and ambush a few peeps easily. Be even easier with jumpjets ala the Vanu Max.

What if you jumped onto a rock or onto a vehicle and from there into the branchs of a tree?
This is a great question, which i think i have an idea on.
Im not talking about jumping into branches, which i think are to hight up anyway.
But im talking about jumping onto cars or tanks. I dont think this is possible, one reason most FPS dont let you, 2nd reason because it seem entering and exiting vehicles is automatic and that normally restricts movement onto vechiles, also i havent seen a screen with a guy walking on top of a tank.

No, the terrain is not deformable. You cant blow holes in walls, knock down trees - etc
