bah all of you. I got an AC Outkast with an E-Blade trigger frame and a 35/45 PSI nitro tank. and a superfly bolt so it almost never needs to be oiled. getting an LPR this weekend.
edit: btw, when I get that barrel set its pretty much impossible to get a better marker. Last edited by JetRaiden; 2004-04-01 at 07:34 PM. |

Sure, my Spyder TL Plus can't paint a wall red in 3 seconds with its rate of fire, but with an 18" Boomstick, one shot to the torso does the job just as well.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

I've read I think it was from Tom Kaye(sp?), owner/designer of the AutoMags, said he's done studies on barrel lengths, amount/type of porting and what not, and have found that barrels over 9 inches begin to slow the ball down. So basically anything over 12 to 14 inches is over kill. And on porting, I think he found that if you have too much porting before the 9 inches you loss velocity behind the ball. So you'd just want a little bit of porting near the end of the barrel to release front ball turbulence.

I didn't spend that much money on the gun.....under $200 after the small amount of upgrades. and i know it is not meant for speedball but i still do very well with it...so what you say does not apply to me. |

no one can shoot 30 balls per second...they tested it and thats how fast it can shoot. no balls break. the gun probably broke because he didn't take care of it the right way...some people don't know how to properly clean electric guns... |

I know it is a machine...and the test showed 30 bps without breaking a ball..i know no one can shoot that fast but it doesn't matter...it is a nice gun and thats that. very well built and lasts long..like all guns you need to take care of it, if you don't expect it to break. |
