the references i noticed were DDR, Sailor moon, Gundam Wing, Power Rangers lol, and hentai in general or whatever the proper term for cartoon porn is lol i used to think it was called manga but that's comics i believe.

That was hysterical. I don't know anything about anime but it appears there was a reference to Voltron. When they all get into the giant robot and they take out the big sword to finish off the bad guy it reminds me of seeing Voltron from when I was a kid. Anyway whoever made that was really, really good.

Funny. I haven't watched anime on TV for 2years now, too much Americanised Anime crap. I should just sell my TV and buy a bigger monitor or more manga....
