Brigadier General
|
I decided to play Morrowind as an archer to bring a bit more of a FPS feel to it. Already beat it once, and I am currently cheating the fuck out of it. I have a dwarven crossbow that deals an extra 15-20 fire damage per hit. Not to mention the ice damage "shard bolts" that I...aquired. I have yet to get either expansion, have DLed no plugins either. However, there's the "Mog Mod" (really slow in development, but looking highly polished), which adds the Moogle from the FF games as a new race (looks like a cartoony humanoid Moogle though) and new, beefy swords (including the almighty Buster variety).
Look at the Mog Mod off of the link at www.machall.com.

That game was fun!!!
If you want to have great fun, take Alchemy as a primary or secondary skill get about 2k in coinage and a potion making thingy (it's been awhile), go to Wolvereen hall (mage guild can port you) and talk to the guys at the imperial shrine and buy the components needed to make Enhance IQ potions. Now make potions, as you make them, take them, effects stack, this takes awhile so be patient, also after the first 10-20 you'll be able to trade a single potion to . once you get you're IQ to about 3k start making Levitate and Enhance Strength potions. Now go have fun. It's pretty killer to be able to take a single potion and fly from one end of the continent to the other in a matter of minutes. you'll also get you're alchemy skill up in a hurry (when your IQ get's high enough you never fail to make a potion) so while the IQ ultra boost is in effect you can do no wrong, and make super powerful potions! The first character I did this with was not really all that much fun to play, but just using it to make flight potions isn't that overpowering. My other favorite thing I did was once I beat the main quest, and was getting ready to head out to Tribunal, I killed one of the boat workers if Vivec and took their clothes, then went to the house in Balmora and dropped off all my items except my one weapon and the clothes from the ferry amn in Vivec. It was kinda kewl playing the wandering warrior!

Ya, i wear gondolier clothes too. I like sneaking into forts at night, paralyzing all the sentries. And stealing all the stuff. If you don't have the expansion, get it. It makes the game very fun. When you go to mournhold you get to see the elite ordinaters, and the elite, elite ordinators. But to get into the mainquest you have to take out the assasin base. After that the story takes into swing.

SDM, once you go into the the sewers under Great bazaar, you'll find their base. You have to kill their leader, he is located in the morel manor, north building. The manor is right inside the base, once you kill him, check his body for the assasination contract on your head, and you'll get a journal update.
