Hardy har. Lets all laugh at my AOL Broadband. ::Sighs::
My father is a 64 year old fella, been using AOL for many years. I live at home (costs SO much more to live on campus). He didn't want to give up AOL for a broadband connection (which I need) because hes got buddies on his buddy list and he likes his email addy and yadda yadda so we made a compromise, AOL Broadband. Call me a noober or whatever lol I don't care... as long as I have a high-speed internet connection I'm happy.

To be honest tho, AOL really does suck. I don't get as good downstream time as a lot of other ppl do :-\ Ah well, at least my ping is pretty decent. I get a 30 ms ping on Emerald and a 100-140 ping on Markov so its not too bad.

This reminds me... did anyone ever have Prodigy? lol those were the days...

This thread wasn't about you, so STFU. Yes, it mentions you in the first post, don't have a shit about it. The thread was about AOL being available in the UK, which somehow confused the original poster as to the fact an American service was available here.

That's very funny because my best friend has a similar story. He has had AOL for ever (partly because he has 3 siblings so it was better for them to each have their own sn). Anyway, he bought CoD and PS at my advice (i told him he needed to get broadband b4 he got it). He tried PS first- Let's just say that's probably the funniest thing ever. Planetside on 56k. Well anyway he figured he was never getting broadband, so he sold PS. CoD on the other hand ran ok, but certainly not good enough for him to be competitive with me and other cable players. Well he got FFXI and it was more of the same, so he griped and griped and griped while I was at his house one week (he lives in NC), and his dad said something hinting that they would get Broadband for Xmas. Low and behold he finds out he's getting AOL broadband. Needless to say I've heard numerous gripes from him about how it sucks compared to regular cable, but it is at least better than 56k.

And yes, we've had AOL in England for about... well, more than long enough. Damn you Americans and your cruddy services. (Not that we're much better...)
it would not be Espagnol Online, it would be Espana Online

Of course. How is one to achieve world domination?

By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.
