I think Doom3 is a myth.It never was/is gonna happen.Its a goverment plot to destroy video games some how i think.

well it was probably just a rumor thing that happened to be true. everyone knew about Half LIfe 2 in like 2000, but no one knew when it would come.

I'm not a big Doom fan myself either, /me shrugs, I guess I just never really bothered to buy it and play it. To be honest, I didn't get into FPS until about a year and a half ago, before then, I was big on RPG and RTS games.

StarCraft: Ghost is supposed to come out next month (June 10), so that should hold me over for a month or so. Then I'll prolly get Doom 3 to keep me occupied until August when Half-Life 2 comes out (I think). That game is going to have to keep me happy until November, when Halo 2 comes out. After that... I don't know what I'll be buying, but thats my plan for now

Edit- Oops I forgot, Metal Gear Solid 3 is going to need to fit in there somewheres too... its supposed to be released this year but im not sure when...

Edit 2- I just checked and it seems they pushed StarCraft Ghost back until November 4th. GRRRRRRR! It was originally supposed to come out in 2003, and it being pushed back so much like this is not a good indicator of how well the development is coming along Not only that, but now the game is going to have to compete with Halo 2 since they both release within a week of one another, and SC:G will almost certainly lose... ::sighs::

I dunno, this is really pissing me off now. At least Half Life 2 will come out in August (unless THAT gets pushed back, knock on wood) but then again, I don't think the August release is set in stone either. With my luck, it will be released IN NOVEMBER. Damn, I'm going to be so poor that month, AND HOW IN HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO PLAY LIKE 3 GAMES AT ONCE! I'll prolly be bored of them all by winter break too.
