hey, what if they were only a few times larger than a MAX???
perhaps, the driver and gunners could be put into the computer, sorta stored like they are when they aren't playing...

I think I'll just wait for a 'Mechwarrior MMO. When that comes I will SO ditch PS for it.

I personally think the look of our current MAXes should be more like the Mech units from the third Matrix movie. MAN those things were sweet.

Heck, why not just make MAXes, no, thats already been done...

the reason that Mechs byond the size of a MAX wont get into the game is because it would serve no purpose. It would be too big to get into buildings and walking would make it too slow to compeat with tanks and other vehicles. It wouldn't have the weight capacity of a tankfram, or the armor.

In real life phisics it could be topled over even if it had the armor to withstand any signifigant beating, and once it's knocked over, it's game over.

i think we ought to be able to do stuff like that, climb up trees, then jump on an enemy as he walks past, just give us empire specific grapples to get up there...

We need empire specific super powers. The elmos can convert people through song, the smurfs can huff the peace pipe and dodge bullets, and the barnies get atomic dinosaur breath!
