ATI 9800 Pro is $160 right now... better than anything you'll get Nvidia for that price. I know, I blew $220 on the GeForce FX 5600. That card was such a stinker for the price, Nvidia has fallen out of my good graces for a few years at least.

nVidia has a definate black mark in my book because of how they cheated during benchmark tests recently. Thats not cool. Also, UncleDynamite was right, nVidia cards are more OpenGL compatible than ATI, but since OpenGL isn't used nearly as much as DirectX, I don't see it as much of a bonus. I'll stick with my Hercules 3D Prophet Radeon 9800 PRO for now, thanks.
