I'd go with a middle of the road system (2.2 to 2.6Ghz). Throw in at least 512Mb ram and at least the 9600pro or 5700 depending on your preference in video cards. Get a mobo that supports SATA.

yeah go with a P4P800 Deluxe and a 2.4 or 3.6 ghz P4c that should run about $200 then add ram ect for about another $200

Oh yeah the 6600 is being released very soon, 8 rendering piplines and %25 performace increase over 9600XT/Pro plus PS3.0 support

I think you mean 2.6c heh. Would be more like $250+ for that combo.

The 6600 might be ok, except NV and retailers will prolly price it at $300.

yeah 2.6 c, NV said it will be $199 and the lesser version $150
