The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

I appoint Martyr as VP, oddfish as Secretary of the pr0n, SDM as the Secretary of Bukkaki Defense, and we'll hold open elections for the other posts. Yes, Kalta, Hezzy, Ventral, FRAG-XORS - come to London for a day at Christmas, we can go to Marks and Spencer and play hide-and-seek.

Trig, during your stay be sure to visit the HMS belfast, and the covered courtyard mall behind it on the bank, where you can find a vendor who sells the utterly witty "mind the gap" themed clothing, most noteably a thong.
Also, if you are a gun nut be sure to check out the Imperial war museum proper and see the displays on the lower level starting with WW1. You wont want to miss the "trench experience". There is every single imaginable first and second world war firearm on display there. Plus several from vietnam, korea and the cold war. I also highly recommend duxford for the land warfare hall, and to see all the planes. The land warfare hall has enfields and thompsons that you can hold. The only problem with duxford is access. You will need to either find someone to drive you nearly all the way to cambridgeshire, or hire a taxi, but thats really expensive. I never went to the cabinet war rooms, but they might be worth checking out also.

The British Museum is ace as it's free entry (worth a donation though), mummies and everything
The Science Museum is kinda cool, often lots of hands on stuff you can look at or try out, especially if there's an exhibition on. The play area for kids is kinda cool too. The Natural History Museum is just awesome. Haven't been to HMS Belfast or the Imperial War Museum though |
