Well neither species has human insides. And have always just shown burnt wound with ooze or a broken exoskeleton (Though they were damn nice special affects at the time). Im pretty sure thats PG-13 by todays standards, so theres a chance. 8) Or this could be a shitty preliminary movie to set up the real movie! The seqaul!!!!

It sucks it Pg-13 tho. They did it for all the lil kiddies could go see it without mommy and daddy. Same thing happened to Scary Movie 3, they tone it down to make more money even if it ruins the movie.

Same here. My friends and I saw the movie poster a few months back in the theater and we all just stopped and stared. We used to play 3-way LAN games on AvP2. It holds a soft spot in our hearts. I will still go to see it... just have to hope that the movie is scarey through good atmosphere and filmography rather than gore.

What really got to me was that music they played during those two scenes. They need to tone-UP the gore level and get some better music. I don't want any fucking Star Wars music while I'm watching the Predator smack the bajeezes out of the Alien.

Well I didn't even flinch when the alien's tail went through the predator. It honestly wasn't gross at all. I showed that clip to my 11 year old brother (very squimesh) and he said he wasn't grossed out either. Therefore it isn't worthy of an R rating. Im still hoping there is worst to be seen in the actual movie. Although with it's PG-13 rating it seems unlikely.

..In the original Alien movies blood would've spewed out and body spasms would've commenced. The Alien getting it's head beaten in on concrete would've cracked and stuff would've oozed out.
