I highly recommend getting an iRiver instead of an iPod. One of the coolest things is the remote console. Which you can clip on to your shirt and change songs, adjust volume, change equalization, and activate recording with. It even has a screen so you can see what you are doing. The iRiver also comes with a built in microphone so you can use it like a tape recorder. Or if you want, it has a external microphone that you can clip on to your collar also. It also has 2 line out jacks (one optical) so you can have to people listening to the same iRiver without using a splitter. And my favourite part about it is the fact that you can just drag and drop songs into and, and use it like a portable hard drive, apparently you need to use some special iTunes program to add songs to an iPod. Last but not least, it is packaged with a double male jack so that you can plug it in to any stereo system with a microphone jack, and play your iRiver from there. You can do the same thing with a digital tape also I think.

Don't support Steve Jobs, get the iRiver.

Ipod IMO = over priced over hyped piece of pop culture. I'd go withthe iriver myself, even though at it's base its a knockoff of the over priced over hype piece of pop culture.

not one to listen to musik much meself anyway

Who the fuck has more than 20 gigs of music? Hell, how does anyone have more than 3 gigs of music? That'd be hundreds upon hundreds of hours of music.

Lies. When they first came out, the 20gb was $400 I found it online for $300

the 40gb is still being manufactured at MSRP $429.99 which means youll be able to find it cheaper again.

Hamma, do a search for the word "iriver" posted by me, and youll find all my arguments for it. seriously. do the research.

Both products are great, but the iriver is the ipod's older, smarter, nicer, more humble looking older sister. (ipods the family whore, and dells locked in the closet (retard).)

I have 7 gigs, but that's only because there's crap in there I don't want. I just copied it all from my dad's folder.
