Maybe I have matured since I don't know but old school Ultima Online kicked ass... you know back in the day where there was one plane.. Felluca and there was a ton of PVP... and the PVP was fun...

I don't know but the latest games offer no excitement (I can't tell for WoW I didnt play it yet but I plan on getting it). It's all about the god damned carebears... what sort of thief can't steal anything from other people? UO was my first MMORPG and I loved it because there was no whining (up until a certain point). Thieves could actually steal crap... (unbeleivable) I love creeping up to a big ass warrior and stealing his weapon to then make him attack me to only realise seconds later he has no more weapon. People actually roleplayed instead of standing around advertising for their store or saying stupid shit... In town people would take their weapon off so it would make less of a dumbass ambience where everyone runs around with their guns or their sword in hand.

I don't know what makes a good MMORPG... but once you find the perfect one you just know it !

I as well miss old school UO. Hanging out in buccaneers den, waiting for murderers to come drop off their loot, stealing from them at no penalty. Having them chase me to the inn, 6 of my friends waiting invisable, smack, rinse repeat.

Concurred. I don't feel like being forced to join a 5+ hour committment just to gain experience. This is why I like CoH, I can join a task force if I have that time to commit, but if not, I can team with friends, either hunting or missions, or even solo if I want.
