I think the sensor on the MB must be bjorked. I can't think of anything else.
After being turned off all night, right after I boot it says 61c in BIOS. 61 degrees Celsius = 141.8 degrees Fahrenheit. Unpossible. After running these tests (4 in a row), the GPU reads about 55c, thats about right. The CPU shouldn't be all that different. Last edited by SDM; 2004-09-15 at 12:42 PM. |

No its not borked.
A common problem when flashing bios is "stuck bits" It happens to me when I flash all the time, last time I hit 122C. Niegh Impossible. Clear your CMOS. Then start up and reboot. Should fix the problem. Also, ill mark this sucker as soon as my main drive is functioning again.

Heh, I have an ATI card
![]() ![]() I'm thinkin about pickin up an x800 PRO VIVO and flashing it to an x800 XT. That is, whenever I get around to making enough money. A RAID 1 dual WD Raptor setup is on my wishlist as well. So much I want, so little money for it all ![]() Last edited by Electrofreak; 2004-09-16 at 04:42 AM. |
