turns out that the merit design is up to me - so i'll do it if nobody else gives me a good one. but if you do give me a good one, i'll translate it to their palette and submit it.

here's how the merit ribbons can be built (i know, it's pretty restrictive, sorry)

ten color bars in a row:

|0|1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8|9|

so an image with ten bars (you can do a 10x1 image if you want, but i'll hate you a little bit) would be great.

The way I look at it, we have two options. Maybe three if you want to be ubergay.

General Ideas:





I looked at intermingling the empires colors. Ie. purple at one end, teal at the other, yellow on the left, blue on the right, red and black in the center (after all, all the empires did come out of TR ) but that just looked like a friggen homo rainbow.



Oh, and I am by no means an artist, and spent about 30 seconds combined creating, and uploading both of these lol.

The black one looks a bit cooler but I think the white one stands out more. Anyhow, lemme know what you think.

edit- well shit, just read about the color bars restriction thing. Damn. Ah well, I guess the design is in your capable hands Martyr

i think they should be Blue Red and Purple (or green, if the VS are feeling a bit insecure, though purple would look better with the blue and red.) and just very simple with perhaps a few stars or something. i'm going to shut up now and just design one and see what everyone thinks..

yeah oddfish I went and designed one and then Martyr found out that the merit ribbon can only be composed of 10 stripes... so, no letters or symbols unfortunately :\

umm.. btw, the white in the background may be cast off, as in the other one (unless i made the transparency properly, which i probably didn't.)
