That did raise the question, how the hell does a baby survive being thrown out the window of a moving car...

The media likes to leave out details to make the story more "OMGWTFGOSH". The guy opened the door, doing no more than 5mph, and set the baby (in a baby carriage) down onto the road then sped off. The momentum tipped the carriage, but the baby was strapped in and sustained no injuries. Note: it tipped, it didnt cartwheel or anything

They need to start giving kids IQ tests at a young age, and give vasectomies accordingly.

I don't know whats worse that he wasn't able to kill the baby and instead he died in the action or the fact that the whole event took place.

Poetic justice. The baby survived without a scratch, he died slowly of injuries.

By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.

i look at this in a different light. the guy knew he was probably going to end up in a horrible accident so he got the baby out of the car and saved its life.

then, i think about how shitty most people really are and it dons on me: this guy is a creep like everyone else and got rid of the baby because he didn't want the baggage.

then, he's dead, so i have no idea what was really going through his head. oh well.. i say kill all the robots.

dumb ass ? he saved the childs life? notice the neding of the chase the car rolls over and he is minorly injured a baby wouldn't of faired well in that crash... true sending the kid out on the highway isnt a good i dea but in 2 ways it makes sense
1) he cant stop and drop off the kid
2) he might think if you give them what they want they'll leave you alone

and now for an inappropriate joke: HEY atleast he let the kid keep the seat when he went out the window! could of been worse AND the kid was unharmed where as he was not

*edit dam odd beat me too the statement

I SERIOUSLY doubt a smacktard like this would have done it to save the kid's life.

sorry.. i'm not the guy, so i don't know what his intentions were... though, i do have to say, taking off on a high speed chase with a kid in the car is fucking moronic enough.. who knows.. maybe he was turning into a werewolf and wanted to eat the kid, then his human side took over and the only think he could do was put the kid out of the car before he turned into the wolf. then, in a last ditch effort to save itself, his wolf form tried to evade the cops, but, the human form took over and veered into a bunch of oncoming shit and 'flipped the car, killing himself. the werewolf was never allowed to take anyone's life. whoever this man was, we should be thankful that he tried so hard to stop the evil from entering the world. god bless his bravery.

All things aside, the media did it's usual story "enhancing". I personally feel there's a little good in everyone. I think that somewhere in the back of his mind, he had feelings for the kid and didn't want him involved, which was a good thing. It looks like the guy did set the child down as gingerly as one could when being chased by what must have been 30 police cars.

Certainly not:

At one point, he slowed and threw the infant, strapped in a child restraint seat, onto the roadway and fled.
That's just plain bad journalism from an area of the country known for the opposite.
