Poetic justice. The baby survived without a scratch, he died slowly of injuries.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

i look at this in a different light. the guy knew he was probably going to end up in a horrible accident so he got the baby out of the car and saved its life.
then, i think about how shitty most people really are and it dons on me: this guy is a creep like everyone else and got rid of the baby because he didn't want the baggage. then, he's dead, so i have no idea what was really going through his head. oh well.. i say kill all the robots.

dumb ass ? he saved the childs life? notice the neding of the chase the car rolls over and he is minorly injured a baby wouldn't of faired well in that crash... true sending the kid out on the highway isnt a good i dea but in 2 ways it makes sense
1) he cant stop and drop off the kid 2) he might think if you give them what they want they'll leave you alone and now for an inappropriate joke: HEY atleast he let the kid keep the seat when he went out the window! could of been worse AND the kid was unharmed where as he was not *edit dam odd beat me too the statement Last edited by ZeusCali; 2004-09-16 at 04:28 PM. |

All things aside, the media did it's usual story "enhancing". I personally feel there's a little good in everyone. I think that somewhere in the back of his mind, he had feelings for the kid and didn't want him involved, which was a good thing. It looks like the guy did set the child down as gingerly as one could when being chased by what must have been 30 police cars.
Certainly not:
